Trailer Equipment - Trailer X-Press seeks a tire technician for immediate hire.

You will be responsible for tire installation, repairs, and maintenance as a Tire Technician. Our tire technicians demonstrate a positive attitude while working with the team to get the customer back on the road fast and affordably. This position allows you to build a promising tire and commercial service career.  The position will work closely with 4 departments: Rentals, Parts, Quick Service, and the Main shop.  This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and successful dealer group!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lifting and jacking semi-trucks

· Bolting and unbolting wheel assemblies

· Dismounting, mounting, and balancing tires and wheels

· Repairing flats

· Performing work inside the shop, on-site at customer locations, or roadside.

· Tire Inventory Management. New, Used, Casings, Recap process, and Type of tire. 

· Excel tracking for vendor recap 

· Sorting and putting away inventory in appropriate areas inside and out.

· Have inventory mounted on rims, speeding up shop proficiencies. 

· Inventory of Tire Shop Supplies

· Hilo operation

· Customer oriented

· Computer savvy

· Mechanically inclined

Requirements

• Education:High School Diploma or GED (required)

Experience Needed:

• Must have computer skills and some Microsoft experience.
• Shop and office experience.
