Tire Technician

We are hiring a Commercial Truck Tire Technician to support our fleet maintenance operations. This position focuses on inspecting, repairing, mounting, and replacing tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, reliable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  Mount, dismount, and balance tires on commercial trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect tires, wheels, and valve systems for wear and damage

  
  


• 
  

  Repair punctures and determine retread or replacement needs

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain proper tire pressure and complete tire rotations

  
  


• 
  

  Safely operate service trucks, tire machines, jacks, and related equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Follow company safety standards at all times

  
  


• 
  

  Document work performed and report issues to the service manager

  
  


• 
  

  Keep service vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized

  
  


• 
  

  Assist technicians with related shop duties when needed

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Commercial truck or heavy-duty tire experience preferred (training available for strong candidates)

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

  
  


• 
  

  Basic mechanical knowledge

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to safety and detail

  
  


• 
  

  Dependable with good attendance and teamwork mindset

  
  

Preferred Skills:

• 
  

  Experience with 19.5”–24.5” truck tires and trailer tires

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with fleet maintenance environments
