Job Description:
Old Republic Title is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Title Production Assistant to join our North Carolina team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with underwriting, title production, and branch operations while supporting residential and commercial transactions throughout northwestern North Carolina and the Piedmont Triad region. This role will begin onsite at our Winston-Salem office location.
What You'll Do
As a Title Production Assistant, you will play a key role in the title production process by partnering with attorneys, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of title products.
Key responsibilities include:
Underwrite, prepare, and distribute title commitments based on title opinions provided by approved attorneys.
Underwrite, prepare, and distribute final title policies and endorsements.
Review files for accuracy and resolve title-related issues when they arise.
Assist customers, attorneys, lenders, and internal partners with title inquiries, premium quotes, prior policies, endorsements, and policy revisions.
Conduct title database searches and research as needed.
Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and office communications.
Support branch operations, including commercial transactions, claims inquiries, escrow-related matters, software testing, and special projects.
Provide administrative support to the Branch Manager and Office Manager as needed.
Collaborate with other Old Republic Title offices throughout North Carolina to provide operational support when necessary.
What We're Looking For
North Carolina Title Insurance License required.
Previous experience in title insurance, title production, escrow, closing, or real estate transactions preferred.
Experience with Qualia, SoftPro, RamQuest, or similar title production software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
