Title Clerk

The Banner Automotive Group is a well-established automotive dealership committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience through accuracy, integrity, and teamwork.  We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our administrative team.

Position Summary:

The Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations accurately and in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role is critical to maintaining smooth vehicle sales operations and providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, and license plates for new and used vehicle sales


• Prepare and submit title work to the DMV within required timeframes


• Verify accuracy of all documents, including MSOs, odometer statements, and payoff information


• Maintain title schedules and resolve title issues promptly


• Communicate with lenders, customers, and DMV offices as needed


• Process title corrections, duplicates, and reassignments


• Ensure compliance with all dealership, state, and federal regulations


• Maintain organized and accurate records

Qualifications:

• Previous title clerk or dealership experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Knowledge of DMV/title processing requirements


• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Proficient in basic computer applications and dealership management systems


• Professional communication and customer services skills
