Title Clerk

Al Willeford Chevrolet, a premier franchised Chevrolet dealership in Portland, TX serving its community for over 40 years, is currently seeking a Title Clerk to join our accounting department. The successful candidate will electronically process automobile licensing and titling transactions registering new and preowned vehicle purchases for the dealership, along with additional accounting tasks related to day-to-day office operations. Compensation for this role ranges from $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Process automobile licensing and titling transactions electronically for new and preowned vehicle purchases.


• Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle registrations and titles.


• Support daily accounting office tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.


• Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of licensing paperwork.

Requirements

• Experience with automotive license and titling processes is highly preferred.


• Previous experience in an automotive office environment is encouraged.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
