Job Description - Toddler Assistant Teacher

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is seeking a full-time Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our Rochester campus teaching team.

POSITION DETAILS:

Regular, full-time days
Monday -Friday 7am-4pm
Starting pay: $14 - $18/ hour based on education and experience
Location: Onsite, Rochester, MI
Desired start: Within two weeks
Please note: This position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Have a CDA or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
Ability to pass background screening including fingerprinting
Reliable transportation
Prior experience as a Nanny, in private day care or with Toddlers in the classroom setting (preferred)

Essential functions of the Assistant Toddler Teacher…
As an Assistant Toddler Teacher, you will provide exceptional care and education for young children utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

Ensures overall safety of children
Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
Implement High Scope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
Attend company/school meetings
Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
Physically able to lift 15 pounds
