About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers.
- Conduct regular assessments to track each child's progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and daily activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall curriculum and classroom experience.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding child safety and education.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and volunteers in the classroom.
- Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution skills among toddlers.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a lead teacher with toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
- Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Background check clearance and references required.
