Toddler Lead Teacher (Early Childhood Education) – Join Our Caring, Magical Team

What You'll Do:
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging toddler classroom (ages ~18–36 months)
- Plan and implement play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NYS standards
- Support social-emotional development, language growth, and independence
- Guide daily routines, transitions, and positive behavior support
- Lead and mentor assistant teachers with kindness and clarity
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families through daily communication
- Maintain compliance with NYS OCFS regulations and center policies
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Minimum of 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education (required for NYS OCFS Group Teacher qualification)
- 2+ years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting
- Strong understanding of toddler development and classroom management
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to complete all OCFS required trainings
$18 - $24 an hour
Payroll is processed weekly.
