Job Description - Toddler Resource Teacher

Entry Level Position – Opportunities for Growth

Heartfelt Impressions is actively seeking a Toddler Resource Teacher for one of our three Toddler classrooms in Clarkston. In this entry level role, you will provide support and coverage to the Lead and Assistant teachers so they can utilize their planning time effectively, as well as provide coverage during breaks and lunches. The successful candidate is flexible, patient, enjoys working with children and handles change with ease.

DETAILS
Position Title: Building Resource Teacher
Status: Regular, full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Desired start date: Monday August 4, 2025
Pay range: $13-$16/hour, depending on education and experience

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (can be completed after hire).
Previous experience in a childcare setting or as a camp counselor is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keeps children safe through health and safety, supervision and by using name to face often.
Appropriate care and supervision in the classroom, bathroom, hallways and outdoors.
Abide by all Heartfelt company policies and procedures
Support lead and assistant teacher
Will engage in active play and supervision with children in the classroom
Will need to participate and direct children through the daily routine
Greet each parent when they walk in the classroom
Follow Heartfelt Core Values when making decisions.
