Job Summary

As an Toddler Teacher at Guiding Hands Christian Academy & Childcare, you’ll help care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

Responsibilities

Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to toddler development levels

Documents toddler learning experience through displays and pictures

Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis

Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for toddlers

Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards, quality star standards and program policies

Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents

Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality

Shows initiative; strong work ethic

High school diploma

Compensation: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

At Guiding Hands Christian Academy and Childcare, it is important that each person that enters our doors are shown God's love. We teach about God, our creator, as well as social/emotional skills and age appropriate development. The two curriculums that we teach from are "Faith Stories" and "Frog Street" with Conscious Discipline. We run our program under the following values: Family, Fun, Integrity, Compassion and Learning.
