Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY \nWe are seeking a skilled Machinist and Die Repair Specialist to join our team at our manufacturing facility located in Washington, PA. The successful candidate in this position will play an integral role in maintaining production functionality by maintaining and repairing complex dies to ensure our uninterrupted production of our high-quality steel boxes. Some specific duties include:\n\n\u2022 Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to set up and operate machine tools for outlet box construction. \n\u2022 Perform precision machining operations, including cutting, drilling, grinding, milling and turning to fabricate parts and components. \n\u2022 Inspect and measure machined components to ensure they meet precise specifications \nConduct regular maintenance and repairs on dies including disassembling, diagnosing faults, and performing intricate repairs. \n\u2022 Specialize in the repair of progressive and compound dies, ensuring they function efficiently and effectively. \n\u2022 Modify and adjust dies for new product specifications and enhancements \n\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules \n\u2022 Implement and follow rigorous safety standards and protocols, particularly in handling heavy machinery and sharp tools\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Requirements: \n\u2022 Ability to machine and construct tooling to drawing specifications to meet production need \n\u2022 Ability to read, alter CAD drawings and blueprints \n\u2022 Ability to use manual lathes, mills, grinders, etc. to fabricate process equipment \n\u2022 Familiarity with machining a variety of tool steel material and including D2, A2, and copper. \n \n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Associate degree related to Tool and Machining or 2 years of machining experience. \n\u2022 Experience in building die tooling for stamping/manufacturing processes. \n\u2022 Welding TIG/MIG experience \n\u2022 Familiarity with steel heat treating process \n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
