Tool Crib Attendant

Starting average hourly rate $15.00 - to $18.00

Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months

Overview: As a Tool Crib Attendant at MERRILL Technologies Group, you are responsible for the organization of the tool crib, along with managing and distributing tools kept in the tool crib.

Job Functions: 

• Set up tooling and build to list.
• Report inventory to manager.
• Pass out items that are kept in the tool crib.
• Responsible for the organization of the tool crib, along with the current inventory and delivery of tools.

Physical Demands: Some heavy lifting, no more than 50 lbs without mechanical assistance. Bending, stooping, and twisting are normal motions during operation.

Work Environment: Job shop manufacturing floor environment. As such, exposure to oil, dirt, debris, fumes moving machinery and equipment, and occasional high decibels are typical. Shop floor is climate controlled. PPE is required at all times.

• High School Diploma or GED, understand all forms of cutting tools and usage.
• One (1) year of experience in related position in machining or fabricating industry.
• Experience in setting up mill tooling preferred.
• Well organized, industrious, hardworking, and team player.
• Ability to create a tool list and manage inventory.
• Excellent time management skills.
