Bridgeport Lathe Experience Preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lays out machines, fits, and assembles parts to make and repair cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, or machinists’ hand tools by performing the following duties.

· Must own basic tooling for job function.

· Measures, marks, and scribes stock to lay out for machining.

· Operates mills, drill press, saws, lathe & grinder for material removal/sizing.

· Use of surface plate to inspect or fixture parts.

· Assembles parts into product and verifies dimensions and alignments.

· Tests assembled mechanism.

· Verifies compliance of personal & company tooling and equipment.

· Responsible for cleanliness of work environment.

Also adhere to all plant safety rules and regulations, Warren Screw Products policies and procedures, attend all job-related meetings, maintain cleanliness of work area, and represent Warren Screw Products to customers, suppliers and co-workers in a professional manner

Requirements

Previous tool maker experience required - preferably in an automotive setting. 

This is not a training position.
