HireNow Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Tool Maker A for a leading manufacturing facility in Franklin Park, IL. This is a high-level position for a skilled professional who can fabricate, repair, and maintain complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and repair precision tools, gauges, jigs, and fixtures

• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and engineering sketches

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc.)

• Inspect tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications

• Modify tooling to improve production processes

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot tool-related issues

• Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and production personnel

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification or apprenticeship completion preferred

• Minimum 5 years of toolmaking experience in a manufacturing environment

• Proficient in reading complex blueprints and using precision measurement tools

• Strong experience with CNC and manual machining operations

• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
