Pay: $18–$20/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Catoosa, OK

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Tool Room Attendant to oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of tools, consumables, and equipment. This role is essential to maintaining efficient shop operations and accurate inventory records in a fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tool & Consumable Management:
• Check tools in and out, distribute consumables, and maintain accurate transaction logs using an ERP system.

Inventory Control:
• Track inventory levels for small tools and consumables
• Prepare requisition forms for new items
• Report on overages, shortages, or damaged inventory

Vendor Interaction:
• Communicate with vendors both verbally and in writing as needed

Safety & Compliance:
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Adhere to company safety procedures and core operational values

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a fabrication shop or industrial environment
• Skills:

• Working knowledge of basic hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders)
• Strong inventory and clerical skills
• Proficient in basic computer applications including Word, Excel, and database software
  • Attributes: Ability to work cooperatively with internal customers and support teams

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping required
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures
• Must wear all required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, hard hat, gloves)
• May require climbing ladders and using hand tools
• Must pass DISA drug screening
