Torque & Test Division Manager

We are looking for a Torque and Test Division Manager to lead operations and oversee workers' performance for our T&T Division. You will oversee all aspects of the division, ensuring efficient operations, safety compliance, and high-quality service delivery. Leading an entire team of employees including sales, operations & field technicians.

This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You should have a solid background in the field and possess leadership skills, being able to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. We also expect you to be well-organized and to favor safety above everything else.

• Lead and mentor a team of forman and technicians in the Torque and Test Division.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor daily operations and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Manage division budget, resources, and inventory to optimize operational costs.
• Organize the fulfillment of tasks according to priorities and plans
• Coordinate with procurement for necessary tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
• Implement quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of testing processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, addressing their needs and feedback.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding torque and testing services.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all testing results and operational reports.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on division performance and improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of torque and testing equipment and methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Create schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
• Assign general and daily responsibilities.
• Train workers and tradespeople and monitor their performance.
• Manage manpower and resources, ensuring they are adequate.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor the use of equipment and inventory to optimize operational cost.
• Review and analyze expenditures on a regular basis, ensuring they remain within budge.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise .
• Prepare reports on progress to managers, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Oversight of man hours for accurate and efficient payroll.
• Oversight of billable time and equipment for accurate and efficient billing.

• 4+ years' experience of working as a Torque and Test Division Management or other similar position
• Significant experience with oil and gas procedures, well control procedures, pressure testing procedures, Lubricator procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
• Significant experience with electrical and hydraulic systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Strong math and problem-solving skills with an ability to report effectively
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Position may require travel to field locations.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on a flexible schedule.
