Tow Truck Driver - St. Petersburg - NIGHT shift

Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is looking to add Light Duty Tow Truck Operators! We are seeking candidates who possess a positive attitude, customer service skills, and problem-solving abilities. 

All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once they are assigned the truck.

No Slip Seating!

Essential Functions:

The ideal experienced driver must be able to do the following:

• Respond to accidents, breakdowns, and other roadside incidents.


• Stay in contact with motorists when you are en route.


• Perform basic repairs or tow their vehicle to a garage.


• Safely load cars onto the back of your truck


• Remove illegally parked vehicles.

Physical Requirements for the Position Include:

• Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing, significant physical strength, and stamina.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience


• Past towing experience or related field is 
  


• Current DOT Medical Card 


• Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse


• Must be able to pass a background check /drug test.


• Must have a Clean Driving Record.

Schedule:

• Five-day work week (Weekends ARE mandatory)

Commission Pay:

• 30% Commission - Our drivers average $1,000-$1,200 weekly OR $200/day guarantee (whichever is greater).
