Tower Technician I

Utilities One is looking for a local, qualified Tower Technician I in the Nebraska market.

We are offering an opportunity to put your experience in Wireless Construction and maintenance to good use, to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, and do so for one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing communications equipment such as antennas and towers, including fiber optic cables and other components;
• Performing equipment swaps and site upgrades;
• Conducting repairs to telecom towers at a height;
• Ensuring on-site safety and complying with safety standards
• Performing tests on equipment to ensure it is functioning properly;
• Review the scope of work and construction drawings with the Crew Leader;
• Maintaining records of work orders and completion dates.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Tower Technician;
• Education in electronics, telecommunications, or computing is an advantage;
• Knowledge of how to use basic mechanical tools;
• Knowledge of electrical systems, telecommunications, and safety regulations.
