Job Description - TPO Document Review Specialist

Description

Basic Description:

The TPO Document Review Specialist reviews closed loan packages, prepares all documentation for suspense and purchase of delegated and non-delegated correspondent loans, prepares Flat Branch Bank purchase advices, maintains and controls follow-up in a timely manner and handles necessary correspondence to carry out such maintenance.

All applicants who reside within Missouri will be considered. 

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews closed mortgage loan packages for completion and accuracy.
  • Prepares suspense notices.
  • Monitors timely receipt of documentation of suspense items.
  • Prepares purchase advices and wires.
  • Registers loans with MERS and accepts transfers.
  • Completes UCD/LCLA and accepts transfers.
  • Corresponds with FBMS Team members, Post-Closing, Accounting, FBMS Partners, and Flat Branch Bank.
  • Provide quality customer service.
  • Backs up the closing department.
  • Assists in training new hires for this position.
  • Accepts all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, post-closing experience is preferred.
  • Familiar with the mortgage loan process and required documentation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for a paperless environment.
  • Adaptable to change and shifts in priority.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively. 
  • Knowledge of Encompass LOS recommended but not a requirement.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
