Job Description - Trackmobile Field Territory Sales Representative (Minnesota and North Dakota)
Job Summary:
The Trackmobile Field Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and market share growth within a designated territory. This involves identifying, nurturing, and developing relationships with new and existing customers who utilize or could benefit from Trackmobile's railcar moving solutions. The representative will be instrumental in promoting Trackmobile products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the company's overall success.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
Proactively identify potential customers through market research, networking, and cold calling. Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to showcase Trackmobile equipment and attachments.
Negotiate sales terms and close deals with customers and distributors.
Provide expert consultative assistance to customers, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate Trackmobile solutions.
Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and seeking opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and new product developments related to railcar moving solutions.
Build and maintain strong, positive business relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and generating referrals.
Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales and post-sales process.
Collaborate effectively with the Regional Sales Manager and other internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to optimize sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in the CRM system.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and territory progress.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Trackmobile products, product applications, and pricing policies.
Become proficient in understanding the technical aspects and benefits of Trackmobile railcar movers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Time management and attention to detail.
Must reside in the assigned territory.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Associates degree or vocational school training preferred
Proven track record of successful outside sales experience (minimum of 3 years).
Experience in the rail or heavy equipment industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Physical ability to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment for demonstrations.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk or in the car.
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times.
