Job Description - Trade Marketing Coordinator

Trade Marketing Coordinator


Department: Trade Marketing


Territory: West


Purpose and Mission: The Trade Marketing Coordinator must be organized, proactive and have time management and communication skills. He/she is responsible to work with the Trade Marketing Manager and Territory Manager to help execute trade marketing plans and promotional programs. His/hers purpose is to execute all brand activities. This position is also responsible of working with the Trade Marketing Manager to make follow-up reports of the trade marketing plans in his or her areas.


Responsibilities



  • Propose promotions and deals.

  • Propose how to allocate the resources from the budget

  • Proposal of sales force contests on a monthly bases and management of results

  • Develop local suppliers for POP and activities.

  • Support and launch new products with the sales team, clients and shoppers.

  • Marketing research with market trends to include with clients and shoppers.

  • Work hand in hand with Trade Marketing Manager and Territory Manager by continuously adding value to create plans or activities to facilitate volume and profit growth.

  • Manage and execute the trade marketing budget for the territory

  • Develop strategies on weekly bases to ensure the sale of short code items

  • Propose a forecast for new item launches

  • Develop marketing and sales strategies to reduce point of sale inventories levels.



  • An on-the-field focused job, looking for new opportunities and executing all Trade Marketing plans.

  • Make monthly execution reports to give to Trade Marketing Manager, Territory Manager and Cordialsa USA brands.

  • If a product campaign is running, give continuous campaign feedback to Trade Marketing Manager and Territory Manager

  • Distribute all POP material to DPVs, Sales Reps, etc.

  • Manage and train Demo, Merchandiser (DPV), and agency teams.

  • In the use of Repsly software as a tool for all demos.

  • Generate weekly reports to review and manage demo result and ROI.



  • Request and manage inventory of POP material.

  • Communicate all available POP Material to Area Manager and Sales Reps.

  • Support in new product launches alongside, commercial team, customers, and shoppers

  • Make and follow-up all visibility inventory in stores.

  • Racks (Brand owned and generic)

  • End Caps (Brand owned and generic)

  • Check out stands (Brand owned and generic)

  • And with another materials.



  • Execute, maintain and grow brand planograms in-store.

  • Review and approve the invoice from different suppliers.



  • Qualifications



  • 1-3 years of experience

  • Basic math skills in a commercial settings

  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple product programs simultaneously with a high degree of independence.

  • Results-orientated

  • High energy, flexible and able to execute in a fast paced, very diverse environment

  • Highly organized and self-directed

  • Effective time management skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Bilingual Preferred – English – Spanish

  • Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities

  • Flexibility and willingness for a constant travel dynamic to other territories

  • Willingness to be open, direct, positive, and energetic

  • Think about innovation and apply it practically

  • Basic experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and SAP.
