Salary: $90K - $110K + Bonus Eligible

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 100 firm to recruit a highly skilled Trademark Paralegal to join their national Intellectual Property & Technology (IP&T) Practice Group. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from any of the firms' offices in Chicago, NYC, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C., with direct reporting to the Practice Group Leader.

We are seeking candidates with stable, law firm experience and a proven track record in trademark prosecution and portfolio management. Candidates with jumpy or inconsistent work histories will not be considered by our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, office action responses, and maintenance filings with the USPTO

• Conduct trademark screening and common law searches using third-party databases

• Assist with TTAB filings and WIPO trademark documentation

• Manage communication with clients regarding trademark prosecution and maintenance

• Coordinate with foreign counsel on international trademark filings and enforcement matters

• Handle customs registration filings with U.S. Customs and Border Protection

• Support trademark enforcement initiatives, including global oppositions and disputes

• Perform due diligence reviews for trademark portfolios

• Monitor attorney dockets to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• 4 - 10 years of dedicated experience in trademark law within a law firm setting

• Strong background in U.S. trademark prosecution; copyright experience is a plus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and timekeeping software

• Exceptional research, writing, editing, and analytical skills

• Excellent organizational ability with a keen eye for detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and flex to meet occasional overtime or weekend demands

• Professional presence and a collaborative, client-service oriented mindset

• Willingness to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
