What You Can Expect

As a Gulf Coast Gas Trader, you will manage risk and trade the Gulf Coast U.S. Natural Gas markets for ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA). You will report to Gas Trading Director and will be responsible for managing risk and supporting the identification and execution of trading opportunities in both physical and financial markets. 

The position supports physical assets, loads, and commercial transactions across the Gulf Coast region and requires strong collaboration in a fast-paced trading environment.

• Risk manage Gulf Coast U.S. Natural Gas transactions originated by EEMNA


• Provide market support to ENGIE North America retail platform


• Partner with origination and asset teams to execute trading strategies


• Execute trades aligned with portfolio and risk strategies


• Support portfolio optimization and short- to mid-term position management


• Provide insights into Gulf Coast gas market fundamentals

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field 


• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in gas trading


• Strong analytical and risk management capabilities


• Experience supporting structured or physical/financial gas transactions


• Clear and effective communication skills; ability to collaborate within trading teams


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


• Proficiency in Excel and trading systems

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; a minimum of 4 days working in the offer per week


• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;

Compensation

Salary Range: $141,750 – $236,145 USD annually 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
