Trading Associate

Reports to: Director of Trading and Reporting
Status: Exempt
Remote or Hybrid

Apollon Wealth Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trading Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading, model building, and exceptional proficiency with Orion/Eclipse.

Responsibilities:

Execute trades using Eclipse and ASTRO
Develop and maintain investment models within Eclipse and ASTRO
Collaborate with advisors to create custom investment models tailored to client needs
Analyze and address tax implications associated with trades
Prepare and maintain monthly trade reports from various custodians
Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Generate custom reports in Orion
Provide exceptional customer service to advisors and clients using Orion
Address inquiries, resolve issues, and offer guidance on investment-related matters

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Preferred
Required Series 65 or 66

Skills and Experience:

Experience in Orion Advisor Services
1-3 years of experience in ASTRO and Eclipse
1-3 years of experience in trading in Orion / Eclipse
Knowledge of different custodian platforms
Reconciling and correcting accounts
Gathering and compiling information
Read, interpret, analyze and apply transaction information
Intermediate level in Excel

Experience in Orion Advisor Services preferred
