As a member of the FlexCold team, the Traffic Clerk is responsible for providing the administrative and clerical support to the traffic operations. They will be responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, logging, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders, The Traffic Clerk will also handle customer concerns in a prompt, courteous and timely manner. Other responsibilities include greeting drivers, telephone responses, communicating with customers, agents, vendors, and shippers to maintain process flows and resolve issues. Finally, they will perform data entry of shipping and receiving details into WMS systems following required procedures and other clerical duties as needed.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain customer relationships. 
• Greet drivers, verify paperwork, communicate to warehouse, and assign doors on all loads.
• Generates all paperwork/information required for customer work orders.
• Communicates changes to routine and timelines.
• Prepares and processes bill of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation.
• Critical attention to details for all paperwork verification
• Maintain schedule to ensure all loads are empty/loaded and processed in a timely manner.
• Maintain and file documentation in an organized and comprehensive manner.
• Provides updates to other internal teams on customer needs and factors that contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED equivalent 
• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Import/Export process preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and weekends as needed.
• Ability to take direction from multiple customers at once.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Computer proficiency in all Microsoft Office platforms and company WMS system(s).
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
