Job duties

• Determine trailer condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Correct trailer deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems
• Maintain records by annotating services and repairs.
• Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Enhance maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
• Use a variety of welding equipment and procedures/fabricate any necessary trailer assembly
• Determine the appropriate welding method, based on requirements
• Take and read measurements to plan the layout and procedures of many different types of projects
• Assess the process or actions needed for the job
• Work with coworkers to complete the project in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Display familiarity with crossovers, tanks, and stairs
• Practice safe usage of cutting torches, plasma cutters, and grinding equipment
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Able to rebuild Blackmer, TCS, Titan Logix
  Must have 2 years Fabrication experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience
• Have own tools
• Safe driving history preferred
• Pass a drug test
• Fluent in English
