Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities

The Trailer Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing dry van trailers to ensure safe and compliant operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  Diagnosing and repairing trailer systems and components

  Performing preventative maintenance inspections

  Completing repair documentation accurately

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  2+ years of trailer repair, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical experience

  Experience with commercial trailers, dry vans, or transportation equipment preferred

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on mechanic position requiring physical activity throughout the shift.
