Job Description - Trainer Clinical

POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:    



  • Provide and present clinical training to all new and continuing education employees regarding clinical practices such as, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment plans, documentation, And violence risk assessment.

  • Maintain trainer certifications for: PersonBrain, Therapeutic Options and any others as needed or requested; and help to implement within a broader agency context

  • Review and update training materials quarterly to ensure effective training on: the electronic health record, Zero Suicide, Zero Overdose and any other as required

  • Create and maintain annual calendar of requirements to ensure appropriate training is orchestrated with both internal and external training.

  • Develop and incorporate courses for the Learning Management System (LMS) as needed. Complete quarterly reviews of LMS courses and update as needed.

  • Maintain and audit all employee credentialing files to ensure credentials are accurate and up to date.

  • Assist with CEU events to ensure certificates are properly distributed and that all requirements are met for obtaining and approving CE credits


QUALIFICATIONS


 Education:



  • Master's Degree in related field is required


EXPERIENCE:


 3+ years as a behavioral health clinician, manager, or trainings specialist in a behavioral health setting.

  • Good understanding of the mental health field and community-based settings

  • Knowledge of various licensing


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:



  • Active clinical licensure (LPC, LCSW, LADC, LMFT, etc.)


SAFETY SENSITIVE JOB CLASSIFICATION:


This job is classified as a “safety-sensitive” position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.  Due to the “safety-sensitive” classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.  Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening.  Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana per the Family & Children’s Services Drug Free Workplace Policy, including possible revocation of a job offer or dismissal from employment.
