Job Description - Trainer (Direct Labor)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts Level 1 Training to all new hire employees (Coordinates with agencies and schedules classes with rotating roster).
Conducts Level 1 Training Refresher Course to all employees annually.
Assists in developing new training or methods of training.
Lead and coordinate the activities of the training & validation/certification program.
Ensure training team activities align with company and customer goals and expectations.
Assist to plan, coordinate, and direct activities of the training team in relation to the support of existing products and introduction of new products and processes.
Effective use of all training materials and methods to deploy companywide training and certification.
Ensure the accuracy of training materials, records, & certifications.
Perform other training related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Electronic manufacturing assembly experience, or previous speaking/training experience required.
Advanced communication (written and verbal) skills.
Windows Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and email system knowledge.
Knowledge and use of electronic manufacturing tools, fixtures, jigs is a plus.
Advanced observation, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
Ability to function independently and multi-task with some leadership functions.
Must have ability to remain calm and focused in dynamic and fast paced work environment.
Must be able to spend extended amounts of time performing multiple training sessions.
Bilingual in English and Spanish/Vietnamese is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent, some technical schooling a plus.
Minimum 6 months in electronic manufacturing a plus.
