Trainer / Instructional Design (Contract) - Room for Advancement

Robert Half HR Solutions is currently recruiting for a contract Learning and Development candidate who will primarily focus on designing and developing engaging and educational content to support our client's organizational learning and development needs. 

Your role includes but not limited to working on Canva and Articulate, creating job aids, building "snackable" content, developing instructional videos, and implementing a multi-media approach to ensure that learning materials are interactive and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the leadership to understand and execute their learning and development strategy.

Design, build, and create a variety of instructional materials such as eLearning modules, video tutorials, digital job aids, and other educational materials.

Utilize tools like Canva and Articulate to create visually appealing, engaging, and educational content.

Emphasize and incorporate a multimedia approach into all learning materials to boost user engagement and comprehension.

Develop scalable learning solutions that can be easily adapted for future training requirements.

Ensure all developed content is both entertaining and impactful, instilling information effectively while keeping the target audience's attention.

Ensure learning solutions are delivered in a timely manner and meet the standards of simplicity and elegance.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.

Proficiency in using eLearning tools like Articulate and graphic design tools like Canva.

Proven ability to produce engaging, informative, and well-structured educational content.

Strong video content creation and editing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Flexibility to work remotely with a requirement to occasionally visit the downtown Atlanta office.

Ability to work under pressure while adhering to tight deadlines.

Strong commitment to executing projects with enthusiasm and a high level of quality.

• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Trainer and/or Instructional Designer role

• Proven experience in conducting training sessions and Instructor-led training is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in End User Training and Employee Training.

• Experience with Computer-based training and Online training is required.

• Must have hands-on experience with Articulate Studio and Canva.

• Strong skills in Content Creation, Content Curation, and Content Editing are necessary.

• Should have experience designing training programs and materials.

• Must have the ability to develop and implement effective training strategies and programs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Ability to adapt to changing environments and diverse learning styles.

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.

• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is a plus.

• Must hold relevant certifications or qualifications in training or related field.
