Job Description - Training Administrator (Medical Claims)

This position offers Hybrid work opportunities following On-Site training at the TeamHealth Akron Billing Center in Fairlawn, OH.

Hybrid Schedule requires 2-3 days on-site per week.

This position is perfect for someone with 1 year of medical billing experience and some leadership experience. We offer plenty of opportunities for advancement.

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:

The Sr. Clerical Support Admin is responsible for assisting with the daily monitoring of production necessary to ensure that all tasks in the Clerical Support Department are completed in a timely fashion. This person will also perform duties to process mail, search for EOBs, match charts, and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consistently monitor and coordinate work to achieve maximum productivity/efficiency and provide support for workflow coverage
Works with other production departments to coordinate workflow
Responsible in the process of EOB/chart retrieval for offsite storage which includes the ordering of boxes, ordering supplies and preparing files for shipment to offsite storage
Responsible for maintenance of transmittal spreadsheets
Responsible for reviewing medical claim rejections, claim changes, Accounts Receivable, etc.
Monthly quality assurance audits and production for the department
Responsible for new and existing employee training and education
Report to management any department issues with workflow or employees
Verify the completion of projects and/or assignments are completed in a timely manner in the absence of the supervisor
Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Good oral and written communication skills
Good analytical problem solving skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented and good organizational skills
Demonstrate leadership abilities for others in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in performing clerical support duties with an ability to lead and mentor peers. Previous knowledge of IDX/GE preferred
