Job Description - Training and Onboarding Coordinator

Pearce is seeking a Training and Onboarding Coordinator with a passion for continuous learning, a drive to succeed, and a strong commitment to workforce development. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping our employees' success by planning, organizing, and supporting training programs for field technicians and support staff.


This position reports directly to the Training Manager and works closely with operational leaders to assess training needs, coordinate schedules, and ensure all certifications and competencies are up to date.


Key Responsibilities


You will support the full training lifecycle, including:



  •  Facilitate Wind-specific New Hire Orientation

  • Identify what new hires have/ require for training and schedule accordingly

  • Coordinate travel arrangements for students and instructors with our support team 

  • Maintain course and class attendance with our training department

  • Submit documentation to external agencies as required

  • Track and report on training statistics

  • Monitor and coordinate timesheets for trainees

  • Manage entries and reporting through the Safety Skills LMS

  • Reserve courses and manage scheduling logistics

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to schedule refresher training

  • Maintain employee profile in Insite


Skills & Qualifications



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems; Safety Skills LMS experience is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and a collaborative, respectful approach

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate training gaps

  • Knowledge of renewable energy industry best practices preferred

At Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.


In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.  We also offer all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, 401k with employer match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development courses.


This pay range reflects our commitment to pay equity and compliance with state and federal pay transparency laws. If you have questions about compensation, we encourage open discussions during the hiring process.


 

Base Pay Range
$45,000$65,000 USD
