Training Head - Automobile

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Training Head to lead and manage training and development activities for an automobile company. The role will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing training programs, improving technical and customer-service capabilities, and ensuring employees and service partners receive effective and continuous training.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual training plans for employees, technicians, dealers, and service partners.


• Identify training needs based on business requirements, performance gaps, and new product launches.


• Design and conduct technical, product, service, and soft-skills training programs.


• Coordinate with service, sales, HR, and technical teams to ensure effective training delivery.


• Develop training materials, manuals, presentations, and assessment tools.


• Conduct technical training for service technicians on vehicle systems, diagnostics, repair procedures, and new technologies.


• Organize product and new-model training for relevant teams.


• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance monitoring.


• Maintain proper records of training programs, attendance, assessments, and employee development.


• Coordinate with dealers and Authorized Service Points (ASPs) to improve technical capabilities and service standards.


• Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate development programs.


• Ensure training programs are aligned with company standards and automobile industry requirements.


• Monitor and continuously improve the overall training and development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering, Management, HR, or a relevant field.


• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automobile industry.


• Strong knowledge of automobile service operations and technical training.


• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.


• Strong coordination and team-management abilities.


• Good knowledge of MS Office and training management/reporting tools.


• Willingness to travel to dealers, branches, and service centers when required.
