Job Description - Training Manager

Summary



The Training Manager reports directly to the Program Manager and is tasked with supervising and managing the training team to ensure the execution of the training program aligns with the company's standards and the statement of work. Responsibilities encompass ensuring program design, planning, course execution, and personnel scheduling.


 


Essential Functions



  1. Serves as the DOT point of contact for training course scheduling, requirements, and coordination.

  2. Oversees development, sustainment, training support, and execution of DST courses.

  3. Collaborate amongst internal teams regarding SRFs (Support Request Forms) requiring training team support.

  4. Prioritize training development requirements based on customer input and feedback.

  5. Weekly meetings with the training team to review current and upcoming tasks, set priorities, align forecasting goals, and address roadblocks.

  6. Provides real-time monitoring of status/deliverables, tracks the quality of work products, and gauges overall customer satisfaction.

  7. Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, as well as training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.

  8. Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to the approved training budget.

  9. Ensures administrative activities are accomplished in a timely manner, including, but not limited to, end-of-course Executive Summaries, Training Budget, Purchase Requests, Travel Requests, Travel Vouchers, Performance Reports, Team Professional Development, and Timecards.

  10. Prompt and regular attendance.



Position Type and Expected Hours of Work



This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. However, frequent evening and weekend shifts may be required as job duties demand. Additionally, the position may be filled in the Hurlburt, FL or Southern Pines, NC location. 



Travel



Travel may be required as requested by client. Traveling includes overnight stays and outside of normal working locations.




Required Education and Experience



  1. Ten (10) years' of experience as SIGINT Instructor with collection, analysis, and/or targeting experience.

  2. At least six (6) years' of experience in training with two years of supervisory experience

  3. Bachelor's degree or higher with a technical or management focus.

  4. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  5. Proven experience in training program development and delivery, preferably in a technical or software-related field.

  6. Working knowledge of the SIGINT Enterprise.



Preferred Education and Experience



  1. Accredited instructor and/or ISD certifications.

  2. Master’s degree.

  3. Working knowledge of the SOF SIGINT Enterprise.



Other Hiring Requirements 



  1. Valid Driver's License.

  2. U.S. Citizenship.

  3. Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret SCI w/Poly.

  4. Must be able to obtain a passport.

  5. Must pass a DOT/FAA-regulated drug screening.

  6. Class III Flight Physical.
