Training/ Safety Coordinator

The Training/ Safety Coordinator at Famous Supply is responsible for maintaining the comprehensive safety program for the Distribution Center, along with ensuring and creating a great training experience for all associates who join our DC's team. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Develop DC warehouse and material handling safety standards and practices
• Work with the Safety Manager to create deployment plan
• Determine key safety metrics and goals
• Identify potential safety risks and create and execute a plan to mitigate them
• Review all incidents/near-misses to determine root causes and take necessary action in the DC
• Conduct safety audits

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience in development and deployment of a warehouse and material handling safety program
• Warehouse and material handling experience
• Product knowledge
• Training/ Onboarding experience
