JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Ability to schedule daily bus routes in response to passenger service requests using computer scheduling software. 2. Ability to maintain a written and computer log of all service requests. 3. Ability to drive a bus or mini-van as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Knowledge of Intelligent Transporations System scheduling software. Skill in making independent judgments. Skill in proofreading and error checking. Ability to speak clearly and be easily understood. Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including, but not limited to telephone, personal computer, printer and copy machine. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound. Ability to schedule and coordinate vehicles and passenger trips. Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public and staff. Ability to perform a variety of physical skills such as pushing, climbing, driving, writing and typing. Ability to drive a van or mini-bus.

Qualifying Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED. One year related experience.
