We are looking for a Transitions Team Leader on a full time basis to join our Transition Team division based in Norwich, Norfolk.
What this job involves
In this role, you will work closely with the Transition Manager to oversee and drive transition activities across JLL Managed Service business lines. Your main responsibilities will include providing support and guidance to the team, ensuring seamless property transfers, managing risks, and maintaining high levels of service delivery. This could also include leading on internal projects which directly improve the overall Transitions Process and support winning new business.
Key accountabilities for this role.
Support the Transition Manager in driving monthly KPI results, analysing key issues, achievements, and risks, and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Assist in setting priorities, monitoring team workloads, and ensuring transition projects are delivered within set timeframes. Ensure that Transition Coordinators are completing administration duties regularly with a high degree of accuracy and projects managed by the Transitions Coordinators are maintained properly.
Ensure Transitions tools, processes, and documentation are maintained accurately, and projects are managed with the appropriate level of detail.
Actively participate in forums and internal presentations to share knowledge and improve transition efficiency across Managed Services Functions.
Offer support and guidance to team members, contribute to their development and resourcing, conduct regular 1:1 meetings and performance appraisals.
Ensure compliance with company and legislative procedures and controls, promoting internal performance standards and ISAE3402.
Continuously work towards developing and improving processes and tools to support standardized and efficient operations, positioning JLL as a center of excellence for transition activity.
Assist in fostering a best-in-class reputation for the Transitions Team, standing ahead of competitors in terms of reputation and delivery.
Communicate relevant information to team members, ensuring understanding of company performance, business direction, initiatives, and individual contributions.
Develop a broad understanding of the business structure, roles, responsibilities, processes and accountabilities in relation to transition activity.
Conduct project post implementation reviews of projects and document lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.
Undertake any other duties necessary to ensure a smooth transition of properties in and out of the business.
Desired skills and experience for this job
People management experience required with strong leadership skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to promote open, constructive and collaborative relations at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and effectively prioritise.
Adept at understanding business requirements quickly and easily.
Committed to excellent customer service, actively seeking opportunities for improvement.
Able to apply common sense, be flexible and adaptable to change and take ownership.
Mange own workload and commitments, independent time management
Ability to lead and adapt to the requirements of multiple assignments, resolve problems, and improve operations.
Project management certification or direct work experience in a project management capacity desirable
Experience in the property sector desirable
