Translator - Immediate Start

Staff Management Group is seeking a Translator for our client in Lyndhurst, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements before applying for this position.

Schedule

• 1st Shift, Sunday- Wednesday OR
• 2nd Shift, Sunday - Thursday

Pay Rate

• $16 - $18 / hour

Summary

The Translator will play a vital role in operations. The employee will be responsiblefor preparing translation labels of ingredients and nutritional facts of products.

Job Description

• Converts written materials from English into Arabic
• Relay the style and tone from the original language to Arabic
• Creates product labels in Arabic, ensures accuracy of all labels.
• Verify labels for accuracy of ingredient lists, measurements, nutritional facts and absence of banned products.
• Attend all required daily staff and safety meetings.
• Maintains confidential company and/or employee information in accordance with company policies and state and federallaw

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Speak, read and write fluently in English and Arabic.
• Two years’ experience in translation and in an office setting.
• Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office suite and able to work with internet applications.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff.
• Ability to multi-task in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working and Physical Demands:

• Warehouse based, requires full range of body motion including; bending, standing, pushing, pulling, squatting and reaching through the required hour work day.
• Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols, normal hearing, vision range and the absence of color blindness.
• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds with or without reasonableaccommodation.
• Warehouse environment may vary in temperature between 45 and 90 degrees, and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees.
• May require working under stressful conditions, and requires flexibility in response to staffing needs. Must be regularlyavailable and willing to work at least required hours per day and weekends as requested.
• Perform duties onsite unless otherwise indicated and approved.
