Transmission Line Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transmission Line Engineer to join a nationally recognized engineering firm supporting high-voltage transmission infrastructure projects across the United States. This hybrid role allows you to work from any of our U.S. office locations, providing flexibility while contributing to complex, impactful energy projects. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will lead the design and analysis of transmission structures, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and help drive innovation in the power delivery sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze high-voltage transmission structures and foundations
• Perform detailed structural calculations in compliance with industry codes and standards
• Lead and support multidisciplinary project teams to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery
• Utilize tools such as PLS-CADD to model and analyze overhead transmission lines
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and staff
• Interface with clients and support business development efforts as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and transmission line design tools
• Expertise in steel and concrete structural design; familiarity with 3D modeling tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
