Transmission Technician

Lithia Ford of Fresno is seeking an experienced, Ford-certified Transmission Technician to join our high-volume, well-equipped service department. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Ford automatic and manual transmission systems
• Perform transmission rebuilds, replacements, and warranty repairs
• Accurately document repairs and diagnostics in accordance with Ford and dealership standards
• Utilize Ford diagnostic tools and service information
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians

Requirements:

• Current Ford certification in Transmission Repair (required)
• Minimum 3–5 years of transmission repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform heavy mechanical repairs
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
• ASE certifications a plus
