For over 60 years, CWS, a 501(c ) non-profit organization, has been helping to build a better tomorrow for individuals with disabilities.  Our programs and services offer opportunities for individuals living with disabilities, including transition-age youth, individuals with brain injuries, those seeking day program services and for individuals seeking vocational services.  CWS partners with the community, families, professional organizations and others to achieve greatness through acceptance, opportunity and determination. 

CWS is recruiting for drivers to transport program participants between their home and our day program safely and with care. We are seeking candidates who enjoy caring for individuals with disabilities who may have some mobility challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers getting in and out of the vehicles from their home or day program.
• Provide a positive and safe transport atmosphere for program participants.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina State Driver's License
• Clean motor vehicle record (No major moving violations, No major cited accidents, No convictions for a seat belt violation.)
• Familiar with using an iPhone or Android smart phone & must have basic email and Internet usage experience.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able or be willing to learn to drive a 12-passenger van.
