Transport Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a Transport Refrigeration Technician with Thermo King or Carrier experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client.

Location: Lakeland, FL
Salary: $34.00 - $48.00 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Carrier and Thermo King Reefers and auxiliary power units (APUs).
• Positive interface with service writers, leadership team, parts department, drivers, vendors, and customers.
• Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.
• Work safely and follow company safety standards.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 608 EPA Certification (required).
• Must have your own set of general tools.
• Able to read electric & refrigeration schematics.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Prompt and reliable employee.
• 1-2 years of mechanical experience preferred but not required.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• Physical activities include walking, lifting more than 20 lbs., twisting, turning, and climbing ladders.
• Able to pass a drug test.
