Transportation Billing Administrator

Northdale Oil is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Billing Administrator to join our team in Grand Forks. This position plays an important role in supporting Northdale’s fuel and propane operations by ensuring transportation loads are accurately documented, priced, billed, and processed in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with numbers and details, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, dispatchers, drivers, and internal teams.

The Transportation Billing Administrator will assist with a variety of transportation, billing, and inventory functions, including:

• Processing Bills of Lading and other delivery documentation through the accounting system
• Generating customer invoices for fuel and propane semi load purchases
• Verifying incoming supplier invoices for fuel and propane purchases
• Tracking multiple fuel and propane inventories on a monthly basis
• Scanning, organizing, and electronically filing Bills of Lading and related documentation
• Collaborating with internal teams to verify proper pricing, quantities, and billing
• Reviewing load documentation for accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed
• Providing administrative support to Northdale’s transportation, fuel, and propane operations

  Skills & Qualifications

• Prior billing experience or relevant education required
• Basic knowledge of the fuel and/or propane industry preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through to resolution
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Willingness and ability to learn Northdale’s fuel, propane, transportation, and billing processes
