Transportation Clerk - Join a Leading Company

Purpose of Position:

This position performs administrative duties related to the transportation operations. Ensures the department has the necessary materials and equipment.

Accountabilities:

• Order entry (data entry).
• Schedule appointments.
• Coordinate routing with our DCs.
• Communicate tracking from vendor/carrier/truck to customer and Invoicing.
• Tracking down PODs.
• Paying carrier and DCs.
• Tracking and invoicing detention and lumpers charges and some customer service.

Minimum Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, etc.).

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced proficiency in analytics software, SAP and Microsoft Power BI, Excel & Access;
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• Understanding of geography and logistics.
• Bilingual in Spanish would also be a plus.
