Transportation Driver

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, this position provides transportation to residents on and off the La Posada campus in a passenger vehicle.

 Essential Functions

•  Provide excellent customer service in transporting La Posada residents to medical appointments and outings, which include shopping, errands, and scheduled activities.


•  Maintain vehicle maintenance and mileage logs.


•  Pick up and deliver resident packages, which may include medications from local pharmacies.


•  Monitor cleanliness of vehicles and report maintenance problems to Transportation Supervisor.


•  Conduct yourself and answer customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.


•  Participates in additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, aligned with qualifications and can be reasonably expected to be completed with minimal orientation.

Skills and Abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of equipment/vehicles.

Licenses/Certificates:  Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
