**Job Description**

AECOM is seeking a Transportation Engineer - Highway/Roadway to be based in Ontario, CA.

Job Description

+ Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

+ Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

+ Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

+ Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.

+ Identifies discrepancies in results.

+ Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

+ Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Qualifications:

+ BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is strongly preferred

+ 2+ years of engineering experience after graduation

+ Ability to use Microstation, AutoCad or Civil 3D for plan production

+ Experience preparing plans for highway or civil improvement projects

+ Experience with InRoads and Open Roads is beneficial

+ Strong written and oral communications skills

**Additional Information**

+ Relocation is not available for this position.

+ Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $71,000 to $129,000.
