Transportation Engineer – Project Manager | PE Required | Traffic & Roadway Design

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Transportation Engineer / Project Manager to lead traffic and roadway design projects. In this role, you will manage projects from proposal to completion, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, track budgets and schedules, and work directly with clients. This position is perfect for a PE-licensed engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with client-facing leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead transportation engineering projects, including traffic studies, roadway design, and signalization
• Develop proposals and coordinate project planning with internal teams and clients
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope to ensure successful delivery
• Use CADD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation) for project design and drafting
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
• 5+ years of project management experience in transportation or civil engineering consulting
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
