Job Responsibilities 

• Coordinates the day-to-day transportation operations for independent living, skilled nursing, and assisted living residents.
• Generates the Daily Transportation Schedule and the Monthly Driver Schedule.
• Supervises and trains all drivers.
• Operates company vehicles and buses when required.
• Maintains efficient and proactive communication with residents, transportation and community life services team, other departments, outside vendors and agencies, and other communities.
• Manages vehicle records, calculates scheduled trip costs and submitted receipts
• Researches trip logistics, routes, and schedules
• Maintains cleanliness of community vehicles
• Transports vehicle to service location for preventive maintenance as needed and notifies supervisor regarding any necessary repairs or malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Tennessee drivers’ license with CDL endorsement (Class A or B with P endorsement)
• Must be able to attain and/or retain DOT Medical certification
• Good driving record with no restrictions & ability to follow traffic and driver safety laws
• Minimum 2 years' transportation experience in senior living or hospitality environment preferred
• Must be flexible with scheduled hours that may include some early mornings, evenings, nights and occasional weekends as scheduled
• Must be able to interpret and follow GPS/map directions
• Must be able to present a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with all residents at all times
• Must be ability to lead and work collaboratively and constructively with a team
