We are seeking a skilled and motivated Transportation / Roadway Design Engineer to join our growing civil engineering team in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities

Serve as Project Design Engineer providing roadway design and analysis on urban and rural transportation projects.
Develop concept studies, preliminary engineering, final design, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
Prepare roadway design deliverables, including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, grading, drainage, and construction details.
Produce signing and striping plans, design calculations, and construction documentation.
Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete multiple projects.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to entry-level engineers.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, project deadlines, and client expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona (required).
Minimum 5 years of roadway design experience.
Proficiency with Civil 3D drafting and design (required).
Experience with MicroStation and/or InRoads preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage tasks efficiently with limited supervision and strong organizational skills.
