Position Summary: 

Cinterra is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our team. This person will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver materials to various locations. Ideal candidates must have a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Operate company vehicles (Class A Tractor-Trailer) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. 
• Conduct inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. 
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods. 
• Follow scheduled delivery and pickup times, adjusting as needed based on traffic or other delays. 
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption, as well as other documentation as required by company policies and DOT regulations. 
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local transportation regulations, including those set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). 
• Communicate with team members to confirm delivery schedules, routing, and special requirements. 
• Ensure a timely and professional delivery of goods. 
• Monitor and report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department. 

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum of two years of tractor trailer driving experience within the last three years. 
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.  
• Must be willing to learn to operate other types of equipment, including skid steer, excavator, PD-10's, etc...  
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.  
• Clean driving record.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to lift and carry materials as required. 
• Endurance to perform physical tasks throughout the workday, including bending, stooping when necessary. 
• Must be able to drive in a variety of weather conditions. 
• Ability to enter and exit the vehicles Cab numerous times a day.  
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
